Video Game Inspired Halloween Costumes-- Little Sister from Bioshock!

BioShock is my all-time favorite video game. With two installments out (and a third on the way), this costume will be sure to attract some attention and appreciation. If people don't recognize you, it's their own damn fault. I'm going to be a splicer this Halloween. I don't have spare spending change for a costume since all of our money is tied up in our wedding. I already own the bunny splicer mask pictured below (splicer masks are easy to make and the concept is great for matching couples costumes!), and I have tons of dresses that are era-appropriate that will pass. I can raid my fishbowl for quarters and pick up some Halloween makeup. Happy Halloween, dudes! What are YOU dressing up as?

The costume itself is relatively easy to make or find. If you're not crafty and/or pinched for time, hit up the thrift stores for a blue or kind-of-blue dress that will pass. You can wear a white apron over it if desired. Cute hair and creepy face are key so don't skimp on the bow or the make-up. Have fun getting super messy with red paint or red corn syrup and make sure you bloody yourself up.  If your climate is cold, wear leggings smeared with fake blood that will pass as bare skin to keep warm.
